That mean I either trade him or play both Walker and M Brown in my team.

4 weeks also means that Prismall is rearing to go if I am not mistaken. Will Skippy be a straight inclusion into the 22 in 3 weeks?

The timing of Skipworth's injury is poor ...

He has yet to increase to the levels we had hoped and some premium forwards are on their way down, but yet to bottom out.

Most would not have more than 100k sitting in the bank ... therefore if you only want to use 1 trade on Skipworth there is not alot of value around the 400k mark.

Might mean cashing in on a rookie (who also has not peaked) to a player like Nahas or Thompson that are certainly not safe in the 22.

Looks like i'll have to do a sideways trade to Krakouer. I don't want to, but i can't have Walker and Brown on the field at the same time.

Yeah the timings not great, but he was never going to be a keeper in my side. Will be up-grading to a Premium forward this week as the kitty is full.
As someone has mentioned Bombers are getting some mids back in the coming weeks and Skippy is no walk up start.
It was good while it lasted Skippy...

Skipworth to Nahas I'm thinking. But Nahas' position mught not be safe so I'll need to see if he is named. If he is not named then Wade Thompson is an option. Or I could go to Ziebell and hop his price contunious to tise and he reaches about $350,000 by round 8 or so. What do you guys think is the best option.

I was thinking of Hentschel down to Ben Warren from the Kangaroos. Could be a good one for Skippy owners to downgrade to.

I havent heard much about this Warren guy but he seemed promising against the Bombers.

Two games of 67 as well which is better than donkeys such as Walker and M.Brown.

Only thing I am scared of is

a) He plays for the Kangaroos

b) Has Laidley as a coach


I wanna go Hentschel >>> Warren and then Skippy to Riewoldt.


Can any Kangaroos fans give me some info about Warren. Is he pretty safe in the starting 22?

There doesn't seem to be much to trade to, so I might hold onto Skipworth for the moment.

I'm considering Nahas, Ziebell and Lucas, though I can think of reasons for not getting these players.

I think perhaps Ziebell is worth it, regardless of his price increase, though that's dependent on him putting on another 200k. Then it could be Skipworth>Ziebell>premium, which is not a bad outcome.

If I leave Skippy on the bench then I'll have Walker and Brown on the field, which I don't particularly want to do for 3-4 weeks.

I have 2 options with the Skipmeister (and keeping is not 1 of them)

These trades might be done this week, maybe next week, depending on B/E's. I have 80K in the bank.

Trade Skippy to Warren (next week) and use the extra cash to upgrade Otten, who is starting, to a premium

Or trade Otten to Barham (next week) and upgrade Skippy to a premium

I think it depends on who is looking likely to be getting games and make more cash for me long term. And which position has the better upgrade targets

If i upgrade Skippy in the forward line (as opposed to downgrading to Warren) it would complete my starting forward line to 7 keepers. If i do the midfield upgrade of Otten, it would leave me with 5 certain keepers + Rich

Looks to be an interesting week. I could always keep him, but he is no certainty of a walk up start, and even if he scores a pretty big 90 1st game back, he will only go up 20Kish, so for that reason, he is gone

The whole purpose of having cash is to upgrade. And it's too risky NOT having Ablett.

I dunno WTF I'm going to do with Skippy. I have $287k in the kitty, so am not without options, but the problem is I've already used 3 trades, and had my heart set on sitting on these for a while, and on using the cash to bring in Hodge once he drops further in a few weeks.

Am tempted to leave him for a few weeks, as I have Brown & Walker as emergencies, but I already have Ziebell on the ground, along with the rest of my under-performing forwards (Roughy, Lids etc).

Not looking at a high overall anymore as ranked about 3000 and a good 700 points behind the leaders. So am going to keep hold of him for another week and downgrade him to a rookie next week.
Still got 20 trades left so will start to upgrade next week to more premiums.
