A mixture of disappointment and impressed with his game last night.

I thought his disposal was good in a crap team, however his passing off when he got in front of goal was not a good move. But he found space well in the forward line and that mark off Richards was very, very good.

In the midfield he only seemed to be able to get near the ball in a pack and got crash-tackled every time...

He seemed quite nervous, but I think there is something to persevere with there, particularly his forward role.

Yeah nah well certainly he’s been given a go, obviously the team, certainly, well has responded. Obviously he can certainly play; we’ll just wait and obviously see how he goes.
Certainly we won’t rush anything he is obviously only a young bloke and certainly needs time.
But he obviously doesn’t p1ss me off much and certainly obviously that is that main criteria for the selection.
Obviously we would like to win a couple of games but obviously I am bigger than the club and certainly am looking forward to when the players follow the plan.
SO certainly he is an integral part of our make up and obviously he will be a long term player as long as I am in charge.

Had a bit of a chat with Skippy at last night's Crows Dinner Auction in Melbourne he said he really ahs had enough of playing SANFL and now is all out to prove himself as an AFL footy player he wants to play good constant footy and hold his spot for awhile he said he knows this is his make or break year, i admire Skippy he has good skills and I think if he really commits himself he will get there and be a good player for the AFC;)

Not bad, but he DID miss out "we're just talking it one week at a time." ;)
I'd give that a 7/10. I'm sure there was an "at the end of the day..." he could have thrown in there somewhere. Still a solid effort there jc!

I not convinced Skippy has what it takes, but he deserves a few consecutive games to be given the chance of proving himself one way or the other.
Believe me, the decision has been made. I will be amazed if he holds his spot this week.

What striking similarities!!

I reckon he also looks like an iguana. (I think thats how you spell it) You know the ones that look like little baby crocs?

All that said, Skippy is important to us. He's got some guts thats for sure. I reckon he played one of his best for us on Friday night.

One thing he has to learn is how to protect his car. The tin can got stolen at training a couple of weeks back. :p

Agreed he does not have the body to break tackles, but that said did not cough the ball up when tackled or give away holding the ball.

Will take more than one week to adjust to the pace of AFL level, but gives us more than the option of say, gallagher.
