2-0 win for us this morning over Villa - without doubt the highlight being an own goal from the mega campaigner Lansbury. Sweet bit of justice. :D

1 win in 14 games for Birmingham under Zola. dumb campaigners.

Might be something in the water in the midlands - Villa are also winless in 9 I think I read?

We've lost a little form recently, so hopefully we can make up a little ground here

Definitely a good chance for both Leeds and Sheff Wed to try and capitalise with the top 4 sides all squaring off against each other around the same time.

Three consecutive away games against 2nd, 3rd and 4th...

All within 8 odd days too - season defining gets thrown around a bit but probably true. Thankfully our away form has been our strongest feature this season. Makes me more confident than playing at home haha.

Hudds sticking around - Wagner must be the best manager in the world, they only have 6 players with Premier League experience and only one of those has made more than 9 EPL appearances.

Underlines the point that throwing money at the league doesn't necessarily equal success.

Huddersfield really doing their best to make it a 3 horse race for 2 automatic places - that win gives them a bit of a breathing space and a game in hand over Reading in 4th.

Their performances are more impressive this season given they don't really have a big reliance on a single player for goals (Kachunga has 10 for the season and Wells has 9 - after that the next best only has 4).

Had a quick squiz at their results a few weeks back and they are a very plucky outfit - winning lots of close games with 1-0, 2-1 sort of scorelines. Haven't really blown any teams apart and won by a big margin in the league. Perhaps shows how fine a line and competitive the league is.

Not sure who Blackburn can turn to - they aren't adrift of safety just yet despite being in the drop zone - only 3 points away with the same number of games played. Only problem is no manager worth their salt will probably want to work under the Venky's.

Rowett can and should do better IMO. Think he's shown enough to suggest he deserves a chance with more finances available to him.

If Huddersfield don't get promoted I could actually see Rowett ending up there - Wagner should be managing in a top tier somewhere next season, either at Huddersfield or elsewhere.
