Good business getting 7mil for him with only a year left on his contract. Need to now reinvest it before the window closes
If he was guaranteed to be fit then yep I am too, but he’s injury prone and we got a good deal considering he was in his last year of his contract

Lucas Joao (scored for us on the weekend too) sold to Reading for 7 million
Jordan Rhodes also looking likely to go to Norwich for 4 million, otherwise Birmingham and Swansea are also keen
Signed Paul Jones (GK) on a free from Fleetwood as a 3rd choice keeper
Now in talks with Michael Hector to sign on a permanent deal from Chelsea
Rushing it all in at the end

I hope he’s not the replacement as Kent is a winger. He’d be a valuable addition to the squad nether the less.

Your thoughts on Joao palmomagpie ? Was disappointed to hear he was going, but £7M is a good price for him - especially if it gives us flexibility elsewhere.
£4M for Rhodes would be even better - he's never really settled with us. Get him off the books.
Bielsa reckons he can turn him into a striker apparently.

Ahhh he's one of those types that you don't quite know if he'll be a gun or a flop. I always rated him, but he only really seemed to score when we were flying, and didn't really stand up when we needed him to like Nuhiu did.
I think either way we needed to ship out players to clear FFP and refresh the squad a bit. Lord knows who's actually making these decisions as we still don't have a full time manager.

Hasn't really been too many Aussies at Wednesday. Had Jarryd Kyle (ended up at Sydney FC) on the books for a few years but don't think he ever actually featured, and Brad Jones played a few games in goals for us, but was (and still is) one of the most ridiculed players we've ever had (fans turned on him and started throwing coins etc. at him). Not sure we really need Luongo but would love it we got him for sure
