Anyone struggling to level once they get around 38-39. I'm struggling to find skills to level up quickly now. One thing I have considered it changing the standing stones to magic or something I haven't really used.
I have my sneaking skills all over 80 pretty much including Archery and Light armour. The low skills are Conjuration, Alteration, Illusion etc and I having spent any skills points on those categories. Any tricks or suggestion how to get them up quickly? I'm constantly using clairvoyance but the skill is taking forever to get past 17!!!

Use a Healing spell whilst getting beat on by some low level mobs and sinking magika pots.

Does anyone know whether Dragons continue to spawn after the main quest is completed? I think I'm near the end of it, and I want to finish it, but I don't want to complete it if they don't spawn without firstly getting enough souls for all the words and shouts.

the more i play the more it reminds me of morrowind. 40 odd hours

good:
-dungeons/caves are more handcrafted, individual you could say (morrowind).
-forts as above ground structures (morrowind again), rather than happening on the exact same thing above ground each fort, then go underground.
-dropping chameleon effect... easiest way to overpower your character in oblivion
-more than 4-5 potions at a time
-the return of enchanting
-puzzles. obviously they are on the friendly side of difficult but it's a nice change.
-traps.
-music, which is morrowind again.

not so good:
-regenerating health... sort of makes sense that it happens but it affects combat. there had obviously in the past been a post-fight ritual where you would heal up and it would appear they wanted to vary that somewhat.
-the landscape is not one of skyrim's selling points. about as varied as it could be before it would become unrealistic.
-i see two people standing near each other in a city i'm visiting the first time, i know they're going to have a conversation about a possible quest when i walk past.
-there are some perks and skills that will be under utilized (i guess this has to happen with some skills/perks anyway, but it's just that it's quite clear already). things like the pickpocket skill. and once people escape noobitude they will find that 99+ is plenty of picks for a master lock so it's ok to break a few.
-cooking pots add to the realism but essentially they're pointless next to an alchemy table.
- menu/inventory is a bit counter-intuitive. i move my mouse right to open up a menu on the left?

you can still walk sideways along sheer cliff faces, i don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but it's pretty useful.

i also wouldn't mind seeing what appear to be all the hidden stats (strength and so on).

I wouldn't mind knowing an enemies level and stats etc (either pre, during or post fight).

Quite sure Skyrim auto levels mobs to be your level... but I like seeing enemies that are just wayyyy out of your league, so you shit yourself, do a U turn flee for your life run, when seeing them.

Is it a good idea to clear all the bandit camps that I come across or do most of them involve quests that I should wait for first?

I did clear out one bandit camp (can't recall if map said 'cleared' or not), but got a quest that lead me back there. It had a couple of respawned enemies, but aside from that it was still clear. I simply ran through to the quest objective (which was a portal to another zone of sorts)

Other quests might be different though and respawn quest related mobs.

From what I've seen, they won't be tagged "cleared" if you go in and kill everyone if a quest is involved which you have not discovered.

Anyone/thing you kill will respawn the next time you go to the camp when the quest has started.

Cleared out a Forsworn camp for a quest that stayed empty for ages, but then I got another quest to go back there and it was suddenly full again.

I would hesitate a guess that it doesnt make too much difference.

What level you at and how much game time ??
80 hours in, and the last 5-6 i powered through the main quest, got to level 35

Finished the companions/dark brotherhood guilds
Did not touch the Bard or the Imperial/Stormcloak stuff (accidently triggered a quest with the legion, only realised 8 hours later, couldnt join the stormcloak, pissed me right off)
Still one thing to do with the thieves guild

The music as you enter Sovngarde is amazing. By itself it just about warrants this game getting 10/10 for me. Just set the tone and atmosphere of the final encounter so wonderfully well for me.

Decided to kill everyone in the sleeping giant inn, in Riverwood (saved first, obviously).
Stripped everyone off to their underwear and made a naked corpse pile (couldn't fully kill Delphine though). Alvar the blacksmith walked in, attacked, so I cut his head off and added him to the pile.

Good times.

Also, killed a dragon today, and couldn't absorb it's soul. Made me sad and confused.
Anyone else had that?

Currently level 40, and just starting the thieves guild quest line.

Some dragons are re-spawns of previous dragons you have killed. Most likely occurs when you find a dragon nest with the shout power, you will eventually get that as a mission from a jarl to kill that dragon. It just re-spawns.

Good times...

I did this with my 1st game attempt and couldn't kill Delphine (probably due to her role)... it all started off with punching some annoying Riverwood Kid in the face, then killing his parents, then others in Riverwood.

Figured that was the wrong way to go so restarted. :)
