In a coincidental link to the current Canadian spree killers one of the youngest spree school killers has died in a traffic accident

Andrew Golden who changed his name to Drew Grant died in a traffic accident aged 33

At the time of the spree he was 11 years old. If not for his age he would have been given the death sentence, as it was Arkansas law states a juvenile can only be held until their 18th birthday. But due to additional charges they were both released on their respective 21st birthdays

The Australian tourist and his Canadian girlfriend were sleeping at the Te Toto Gorge carpark in Raglan, on the west coast of the North Island, early this morning.

Police say a man demanded the key to the couple's campervan, before shooting the Australian. His partner, who is said to be "very shocked and distressed", managed to escape the gunman and alerted the police. She had to run several kilometres to get help.

"At approximately 3:20am, police were notified that an offender had approached a van and shots were fired," Detective Inspector Graham Pitkethley said.

"At approximately 8:00am this morning, police located the van with the man's body inside."

Police said they found the van with the body inside some 80 kilometres away.

Armed officers have launched a manhunt across the Waikato district to find the gunman, who remains at large.

Te Toto Gorge Raglan, situated about three hours south of Auckland on New Zealand's west coast, is a popular coastal destination for walkers and hikers.

Detective Inspector Pitkethley said "the terrain where the vehicle was stolen is quite rough with a lot of bush around".

Really interesting. I've seen some incredibly cruel comments made online and targeted smear campaigns that had me cringing they've been so no-limits nasty and personal.

This was in 2013 so if you've been horrible to someone it could come back and bite you years later.

A South Australian woman who posted "vile, vicious and vitriolic" comments about sexual impropriety, incest and drunkenness that were directed at another user of an online political forum has been convicted of stalking.

Key points:

  • Two women aged in their 60s attacked each other in the comments section of The Pickering Post, but a judge found the accused took it too far
  • The accused posted "offensive" comments and even created a new username under the name of the victim's late husband
  • The judge found it "frankly extraordinary" two women of such an age "engaged in such juvenile behaviour"

District Court Judge Paul Slattery described the behaviour as "juvenile" for two women aged in their 60s.

He said while the victim was not completely blameless in the online slanging match, the accused took it too far and even ignored a police warning for her to stop posting.

The Port Augusta woman — was found guilty of stalking by a jury in the Port Augusta District Court.

The woman started posting on political forum The Pickering Post — where registered users can comment on articles — in 2013.

The Pickering Post is a news and opinion blog which was founded by Australian political cartoonist Larry Pickering, who died in November 2018.

Judge Slattery said the accused started posting in defence of a user called Diddums, who was being targeted by another user, Smart Girl No Really.

Commentary between the accused and Smart Girl No Really — who lives in Ballina, New South Wales — started to escalate from there before each woman started to create new usernames in order to insult each other.

"You each engaged in mutually derogatory posts," Judge Slattery said.

"It is frankly extraordinary that two women of your age engaged in such juvenile behaviour.
"It is even more extraordinary that your behaviour has necessitated police involvement to the extent that it has.

"Your conduct is particularly disgraceful because on December 2, 2016, you were cautioned by police following complaints from [Smart Girl No Really].

"This should have been the end of your posts but rather than desisting from this conduct, you escalated it. Many of the posts that were the subject of these charges are vile, vicious and vitriolic."

Judge Slattery did not repeat the posts in his sentencing, but said they contained unfounded allegations against the victim, her late husband and her parents.

"It is hardly surprising that the jury found them to be offensive, containing, as they did, assertions of sexual impropriety, incest, theft, drunkenness and more," he said.

He said the most appalling posts were under the name of the victim's late husband.

"It is clear that you undertook some research on the internet to find out various matters relating to [the victim] in order to establish this username and to make these posts," he said.
Judge Slattery imposed a conviction and placed the woman on a good behaviour bond for two years. He also imposed an intervention order, banning any further contact between the two women.

He took into account the fact the accused suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, had a limited criminal history and was a productive member of the Port Augusta community with her volunteer work.

I note that the Jimmy / Nadia Barrel thread has been removed from the Rumour / Scandals Board.
It included such pearls as Bartel having sexual relations with his sister.

Makes me wonder if these murderers were inspired by the recent attention on Ivan Milat.
Eg: Canada , Byron bay , NZ .
Did the offenders listen up to the freshly released podcast and news etc?

Detectives will debut a true crime podcast to help solve a suburban Melbourne shooting.

A man was shot in the stomach on March 2, 2018, when two robbers stormed the Waverley Gardens gaming venue armed with guns stolen from a
Cockatoo property the day before.

Warning Shot, should be out some time today.

The response they get could be interesting.

Many in the town at the time, showed up to have their DNA collected in an effort to find the mother. Over two decades later, this article doesn't indicate how she was eventually found but maybe one of her relatives has ended up in the database.

A Kambalda woman, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said she was among the women aged between 18 and 25 who came forward to clear their names.

"Every local went down and was happy to do the DNA tests because we all wanted to know who it was," she said.

The woman, who was 18 at the time, said she never thought the mystery could be solved and was "devastated" to hear the accused was so young.

  • A woman, who was 14 at the time, has been charged with the murder of a baby in 1995
  • The body of the child was discovered in a toilet in a Kambalda caravan park
  • The 38-year-old woman is being extradited from Victoria
Of course, given her young age at the time investigations are ongoing into who fathered the child and the circumstances of the conception.

What a horribly sad story.

Looks like a criminal organisation to me, targeting and taking what they want from the weakest while working under the umbrella and protection of the wealthiest, most powerful institution in the world. Why we still give these organisations status, influence and tax free dollars worth a lot of money is beyond me.

Quite a lengthy and thorough article in link below detailing victims account, lawsuits pending.

Some of the Catholic church’s worst paedophile priests shared victims, passed on details of vulnerable children considered easy targets and worked together to conceal their crimes as part of informal networks of sexual abuse hidden in Australian seminaries, schools and parishes.

An investigation by The Age has identified for the first time that many priests involved in historical sexual abuse of children did not simply act as individuals but formed clusters, or paedophile rings, throughout Victoria, from the western district to the Gippsland region and in suburban Melbourne.

(Interactive graph in the body of the article)

At the centre of a number of these networks was Melbourne’s seminary - Corpus Christi - which has produced about 1000 priests over almost 100 years, including jailed Cardinal George Pell and convicted child rapist Gerald Ridsdale. According to a conservative snapshot from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Abuse, at least 75 convicted and alleged sex offenders emerged from Corpus Christi. The true figure is not known.

How Paedophile Priests Worked Together To Share Victims

It was a club.

More evidence has come to light that paedophile priests working in the Melbourne and Ballarat Catholic dioceses operated in an organised network that included a suburban 'safe house'.
