Anyone get this? I've had it once or twice, just small. Opened my eyes and saw my girlfriend next to me and i couldn't move my arms or legs. nothing else happened until i woke up and my girlfriend wasn't really there.
another time i got it from lying on my back for too long, i was dreaming of this weird cube what was a dice but it spun like a rubix cube, i opened my eyes and it started floating around my room and the 'zing' sounds and 'clickity' sounds it made sounded like they were real, like not in my head like a dream, but i could actually hear it. woke up and rolled over and went back to sleep
you can force this weird paralysis in your semi-conscious state by lying on your back when you're very tired. turn off your body, but keep your mind switched on. think of things, anything, even count backwards from 500-0. here's the trick though. you know that MASSIVE urge you get to roll over when you're tired or half asleep? force yourself to ignore it and stay on your back. this is the best way to force sleep paralysis but i would never try it personally because i get scared easily.
oh and also, i have heard from others it isn't recommended you try to get sleep paralysis unless you're ballsy as hell. the part of your brain that senses strong evil and fear goes crazy during sleep paralysis so when you open you're eyes you're likely to lie there unable to move and have a freaky monster sit on your chest and try to kill you (srs)
but occasionally people just see weird trippy things like the ceiling is melting.
i know i haven't explained this well but i tried
anyone else get sleep paralysis?
