Just read a few clearences on efl website and saw scott gillan has left the kangaroos. Big loss or not?? Any response from the roos coach??

Tunners v Mordi tonight at Ross Street. Should be a good hit out for the Tunners to see what where they are at against a much improved Mordi outfit.

To lose any player of that ilk is not desired but realistically it is not a loss for us as he did not play last year. Scott played only 2 games last year and both times were to help out when we were short. He is an excellent player and both he and the family are fantastic Knagaroo people. He would have been a great bonus this year but we never expected him to play and speaking to him last year he was always heading to Wantirna South this year. He lives in Knoxfield so understandable. Good luck to Scott this year at the devils. That being said we have found some very strong replacements

Sorry Springy, didn't get back on until this morning - It was a 6 quarter game in the end with first half mainly reserves mixed with 1's, and the second 3 periods 1's. Real shit of a night for footy in the end, rained near entire game so not much to read out of the game really.

Hey Unstable punt, you must have been out at the Chess Club on Thursday night.....numbers were mauch better....more like pre christmas when 35 plus was the norm!

I would be interested to know these recruits myself Brightspark. I have looked on the sfl website and have not seen huge information on player movements. Not saying you are wrong mate and you are intitled to your opinion and it seems you are trying to base it on some level of fact (which is refreshing on here), however i think it is a little early to be making predictions. Some sides have not even played a practice game yet and many clearances have not gone through. Maybe reserve your judgement to closer to the season when all is known about who will be pulling on the jumper in divvy 2 in 08.

Hey Monkey boy maybe before you start with the Shite talk you should wait and see how some of the clubs in Div 2 perform as I saw a game on Saturday between a Div 3 & Div 2 side and there was not much between them.

PS this Div 2 side played in finals last year ?

Carrol is a good player and would get a game in any side in the league. And Atkin was the only one to hold willow to 4 goals or les last year. NO one other than willow kicked more goals on him, plus i saw him play on a full foward from kezy called Macginus who is ment to be a gun and he did not kick a goal on him. so you might wont to do your hame work.

Oakleigh beat doveton by about 15 points on saturday, they ran the ball very well off half back and through the middle, but lacked height.

People place far to much emphasis on practice matches. They are exactly that. Players play in different positions, you have a look at young blokes, players play varied game time. The only results that mean anything are from round 1.

As for naming interleague teams 2 weeks out from the season bloody hell. how about waiting till round 9 or even better round 18
