I haven't watched any replays or anything, but my impression at the time was that Jaensch wasn't ready to receive the handpass anyway, was kind of turned away from Sloane at the time.

Plenty of players have gone backwards under Sando. Van Berlo, Reilly, Petrenko and Porplyzia for starters. Also I seem to remember Johncock going from near AA small defender to a list clogger over one preseason under Sando.

That Dangerfield play on was right in front of me, I could not believe it when he took off and then missed! On Sloane I think he played OK and he did not lose us the game.

Correct & everyone makes mistakes - even the best!

Sloane would be gutted by his overall performance against the Blues - a rare poor performance for him - & he will be doing everything to rectify in future games.

If all the players put in like Sloane all the time, we would be firmly entrenched in the top-8!
