What about Mayne playing lockdown on smaller forwards? Manic pressure. Release spurr to hbf and Sutty to wing.

I would think that players like wingard, betts etc. may just be to agile for mayne, although mayne is very fast and agile for a bigger player.
Plus mayne plays his best footy in the forward line and is crucial for our pressure, would rather see a young player develop into the role.

Sounds a bit weird but his pressure might not be as effective in the back line, a small side step by the forward and he'll run straight past them.

His pressure in the forward line is second to none and if he misses the first one he'll be first to the next contest. In the back line the next kick might be through goals.
