Sandy seniors had a bye, i think it was for the reserves again. However considering how we are going right now we couldn't do any worse so why not give Smith and Bate a shot.
Damn right - and Smith is no longer a kid who would be traumatised by a poor performance..

i remember seeing his first game vs the bulldogs (it was his first right?)

we tried to stretch their defence by sending Bruce Neitz and Smith all down to full forward and i think Schwarz to CHF, not positive though.

i remember thinking damm, that guys big, i just hope he can play aswell as he can benchpress. unfortuantly he did nothing that game pretty much :p

I think you'll find Schwarz was long retired.

Robbo was at CHF and he took about 13 marks.

I remember saeeing Smith play for sandy last year when he was getting over glandular fever or something. The point is: his marking was exceptional and he put a few through the sticks from outside fifty. He has potential and Melbourne wouldn't have signed him up at the end of last year if they didn't think he had.

Just play him and see what happens. No one will really know. I'm a fan of Brad Miller but fir a centre half forward, he just doesn't hurt anyone on the scoreboard.
