So really, we're talking about the same thing. People who slack off and help themselves to breaks every so often while the rest of us work our arses off. Do we get to go home 1/2 an hour earlier than these w***ers? No. I think it's time the unions got involved. Just like communism, in the end, nobody will be working.

Ps. I think more people take breaks to smoke than wander off to get fancy coffees.

Honestly Id think the union would be on the smokers side.

When you have learnt how to not ever stop at work, not even to THINK of something personal, let your boss know and im sure he will promote you like the little arse licker you appear to be.
 
When I used to work at a call centre we would get a lunch break and 20 minutes worth of break time throughout the day, so everyone was on level footing. The non-smokers would use their breaks to eat and go the toilet and the smokers would use theirs to smoke, starve and piss in their pants.

In the job I have now people can take as many breaks as they want and use their time as they see fit, but at the end of the day you are judged by the quality of your work, so if you don't put in the time or effort you'll be putting yourself at a disadvantage. It's never been an issue at any place I've worked at.

I don't give a shit about the little man. I used to say that life is not a team sport, but as I get older I realise that in some ways it is. Unfortunately, you are not on my team, so I don't give a shit about you.

Great topic and agree with the starter.........I hate the fact that smokers seem to have this "right" to addition breaks that everyone else just because of a disgusting habit.

In saying that, coffee drinkers are just as bad these days. They seem to think they have a right to go and buy a coffee instead of making thier own.

Workplaces should given everyone the same break, no matter if you are a smoker or not. Use the time how you want to - if you want to smoke, you have less time at lunch. Simple.

Geez you lot have already taken away smoking in enclosed places. Should have thought of that when you pushed us outside.

Whats the ultimate goal? Prison Camp Holidays being the only place/time we can smoke??
