Sorry for being a little late this year, I have been so busy, so getting time to post has been a struggle.
To start with, at the start of the year I named a few of my faves in another thread and a they seem to be getting traction which is nice.
I always choose kids that i like the game play of and who may jump up draft boards.
They were; Darcy Wilson, Connor O’Sullivan, Will Green, Reece Torrent, Jake Rodgers, Sam Frangalas, Kane McAuliffe, Harry DeMattia and Cooper Simpson.
George Stevens was one of my favourites a couple of years ago, so to see him come back from the injury and playing well so far is awesome to see.
A couple of my faves were already highly thought of and others are already moving up boards, so that is nice.
I see other posters are getting around my positional element of posting which is nice to see and I will continue the same this year.
I will post a big list for each position and keep adding players and adjusting them depending on positional changes, however only posting my top 5 of each position once a month.
Unlike last year, you can expect to see a mixed big board at the end of each month also.
So welcome to all and good luck to all the kids this year.

I like the mention of Angus Hastie, he has been really impressive

Thankyou for putting this together.

If Hardeman slides to 47 I’d be pleasantly surprised

Speaking of WA boys. I got "jokingly" told by an Eagles supporter to stop speaking highly of Coen Livingstone.

I think they would be happy if he doesn't fire a shot at the 18's championships.

But I don't really care where they get drafted to or at what position/number.

Livingstone takes me back to when I was a kid and I'd rock up to a state game against SA eager to see the likes of reputed champions like Ebert, Cornes, Hodgeman, Rocky Roberts, Davies etc but often they didn't fire....nor did WA's Stephen Michael to be fair.

Years later I saw them on youtube and they were champions but just didn't play well on the day I saw them.

State games don't tell the full story at any level.

He has the skill set and game to push right up in the mix as you probably know, but we will find out when he gets some consistency. I’m not talking about his game but more so the team play consistency. He unfortunately has been here there and everywhere for the time being, get him in the side and play him consistently to see how he rises to the occasions. At this stage of the year quite a few of them have been in this team, that team, rep team, afl all aus team, once they settle down in a team consistently then we will watch the rises and fallers, for him so far this year I feel this is where he is at But I feel he can easily and should be push up higher.

So Kynan Brown, Melbourne's f/s, not rated in the top 50. Damn, melbourne haven't had a decent father/son since viney.
Both these boys will be a lot higher come November. Even if Brown stays around the 50 mark I wouldn’t be too concerned. The kids a jet. IMO he will be a lot better in a team oriented side. This was proven in some of the match sim with Melbourne pre season. He will definitely be a Demon.
As for Hardeman there is no way he will be that low come November. He’s a really smooth mover and has some nice AFL attributes. I get these rankings are a bit of fun for everyone, me included, but sometimes they are based on what they are currently doing vs what they will be when they play AFL.

And to that point these rankings are as they say in the header, April rankings, not an end of year predictor, way too early for that to start.

Interesting take.

The 3 players Im keen for the Eagles listed 10, 11 and 12.

Other than Ried of course.

Hardeman at 19 also.

Split pick 2 and trade for the Suns 1st and we could land Moir, Curtin and Tholstrop.

Forget Tholstrop want Mitch Edwards will be best ruckman in the game one day
