The continued snark is down to a rare few now. I try not to get baited anymore. I've been drawn in a few times lately, and responded, but find I have to go back and delete the posts, because they defeat the purpose of moving on and celebrating the joy our club is now giving us.
If those rare few want to go with stonewalling, well that is on them.
Overall it's a great place full of fantastic people and like the players and coaches, we are mostly more unified for having gone through a painful disappointment together.

I’d like to apologise to Cuningham, Marchbank and Martin - I should have never doubted the work you three have put in over the past 3 years towards your rehabilitation and recovery.

Further I want to apologise for piling on to all the throwaway posts about season ending paper cuts, and liking images depicting you bandaged up like mummy’s etc.

It was wrong of me and now I feel a little dirty enjoying the benefits of your hard work contributing to the past 7 wins.

Well overdue for a bump this one.

What a massively tough season it has been. So many issues around the club and many yet to be resolved. Carlton forums are just microcosms of the club and the supporter base at large.

As a moderator, I've been involved in many disputes during the last year or two, since this thread was last utilised. Some have been worked out, and thanks to the posters who have met me/us half way, even if the result didn't go their way. Some have ended in posters/characters departing, either voluntarily or forced.

On some occasions, my sense of calm and diplomacy has been tested, or not quite what it usually is, and for those that have felt aggrieved, it is never my intention. My preference always is to find a result that we can all live with, and for the greater good of all.

I hope you all know that I love the discussion, when it is done right. I encourage it wherever possible, and don't want people to feel like they can't voice their constructive opinion.

This place is family to me, and family always has its share of drama queens, drunk uncles, pontificating academics, and lost souls.

For my part, I apologise for any snarkiness I have used because I no longer had the patience to stay true to myself.

For everyone else, I encourage you to try to make peace with those you have clashed with this year, and even offer you a chance to invite me into a PM to help you find common ground.
