I never understand why council's decide to start demolition just before winter and completely disrupt the facilities in footy season.
Would make a whole lot sense if they hold off until the end of the H&A season and make a start on it.

Far more easier to inconvient cricket sides with portables than having to relocate a football/netball team for a season.

They can plan it like that but combine local council with a large building project and you are guaranteed one thing, delays delays delays, nothing ever starts on time or finishes on time. At the best of times, let alone now with so much difficulty getting trades and materials. If you finally get a builder on site and they can get into it you have to take it, if you can do that without impacting a footy season it would be a miracle.

Yep, think Murrumbeena's keeps getting pushed back which would be annoying for them.

It’s the same with most council-run projects… if they’re completed within 12 months of the originally planned completion date then you’re doing very well.

That and they’ll deliver facilities that in the normal course of things could be built for about half the cost.

So stuff cricket , ffs what are you on

It's pretty obvious which sport should take priority when it comes to impacts of no change rooms.

Which sport would have up to 130 people getting changed & showered on a Saturday in the middle of winter for three grades let alone juniors on Sundays?
By sheer numbers cricket can far more easily adapt to portable change rooms in comparison to footy.
What would cricket have on a saturday? A junior game in the morning, followed by a senior grade game. So 44 players at most?
Is it ideal? Of course not but out of the two sports it's easy to see which one has a larger impact on the end users Bedford.

Hampton park drew with officer in the seniors and officer 2s won by around 7 goals but they only played a couple of quarters dew to both sides having a fair few unavailable but officer used a fair few u/19s for the 2s

That's bull sh*t.
I watched first 5qrts.
After 2 qrts of 2nds playing the score was H/P 12 OFF 81
Then they wiped the score board.
After 3rd qrt with H/P putting their best on & OFF still playing 2nds players the score was H/P 50 OFF 14
Then qrt 4 & 5 both teams had their best sides on the park & Officer smashed H/P.
In those two qrts OFF kicked 12 goals & H/P kicked 2 goals.
Not sure what was score in the 6th qrt , but H/P would of needed to kick 10 goals to nothing to draw it.
So the end of 5 qrts
OFF 26 goals H/P 12 goals , so that's not a draw.
Yea officer did bring a few more on in third quarter and 4th quarter but you obviously didn’t watch the game much only when officer kicked goals maybe you should of been looking at the scoreboard in the last quarter and they did change there side a bit with probably 6-9 interchange when Hampton Park had 4 id say if officer played there best 18 all game they probably would have won but they didn’t it was a draw 🤦🏻

Not doubting where sfnl is rated, but top 5 sides in sfnl would also beat Caulfield by 15-20 goals
They’re an old slow side
So are you confident that the quick young legs of EB will run them around this year? Along with Caulfield and CH (picked up a few) who are you’re threats? Doveton dropping down a standard are a bit of an unknown but have lost a few.

I still would have Caulfield favourite for Div 2, just saying how far Div 2 sides are from competing with the top sides in Div 1.

Officer did have a couple of quarters were they were well on top but not the first and last it finished in a draw stupid so you stop talking rubbish as you said you were not there at the end so how do you know the result and how about you buzz of to whatever rock you crawled out from under
