The all stars are an interesting club.
Probably paying more than most division 1 clubs. Not a very sustainable model, couple of mates their all say the same thing , the mercenary “assistant coach” Ryan Semmel is barely around and his buy in is s**t house for culture. I tip them to win it all this year then come straight back down the year after
Semmell has been ok
Overall all the new recruits have brought in
Pretty sure every club has a few players that don’t appear to be invested as the rest , but culture at East Bri would be better than most division 1 sides
40 plus players train Tuesday nights and always over 50 Thurs nights then in for meals
Wild thing should be more concerned with his club surviving in division 3

What club might that be? Certainly not from Clayton and to be brutally honest I don’t have a club from the SFNL. Country lad who has moved down this way and followed all the leagues.

How am I digging a hole?
I’ve been on the receiving end of one. Niggled a bloke giving him little ones all day and eventually he gave me a single one back. I didn’t piss and moan about it like all you pussies

Haha sorry, champ. My bad, didn’t realise you were such a big tough man.

Yep. Then went chasing coin
De La lad. U19s p’ship player who made an immediate impact in A grade Ammo’s. Reckon he played seniors in 2006/2007 while 18/19 years old. We (DLS) were asleep at the wheel and Hampton Rovers got him an apprenticeship and he changed clubs after Rd 1 of 2008. Upset a few but in my eyes we had nobody to blame but ourselves. Employment is the only real currency in the VAFA and Rovers saw an opportunity and took it. Was gone soon after and played for coin in the bush at the same club for quite a few years.

I understand his time at Mordy was similar to what is being reported above. He didn’t really buy in and was gone after a year. Can certainly play and in his day was a super footballer. Would have to be 36/37 now?

The Rockers have improved out of sight over the past 6 weeks and been in several winning positions without getting the chocolates. The culture in the place is beyond belief - 8-10 blokes have been missing out each week.

Add to that a poor percentage, as well as other results having to go there way.

EM missing the finals is an accurate reflection of how the year has gone. You don't drop your first 4 and expect to make finals.

Onwards and upwards in 2024.

I think we are looking at a finals team next year good core if they keep them together good young kids coming through

Highly doubt it but hope I’m wrong .
Some seriously good top end talent, but the depth looks a serious issue,

Players going overseas surely isn’t an excuse it’s either players not doing the right thing and giving them notice or they knew and mismanaged the list.
Highett Hampton park and beena all look to have serious injury lists . Caulfield lost Dunn early. If EM lost Morrisby in round 3 like Caulfield lost dunn do they win a game ??

Bainbrigde has been a very good forward for them and They got injuries of there own with Cranbourne potentially leaving southern and the possibility of two teams going up. They will be a better then stkilda city next year couple recruits and they will be in a good position
