East Bri had a great workout playing 22 players
Not sure what a Div 1 side thinks playing 30 players against a Div 2 side with 22 players has them ready for round 1 not to mention controlling the timekeeping
30 players seems ridiculous…They had massive number again today. Both reserves and seniors had 10+ on the bench.

No way your team can get any consistency throughout a quarter of footy with that many on the bench.
Can too many players become an issue for bentleigh perhaps?
Though I suppose thirds don’t do praccys matches.
East Brighton seem to be great contender
Awesome to have so many players, most clubs be envious to have that luxuryIt will have its moments, but it can only be great thing for a club to have so many numbers. Says a lot about the club itself to have so many involved. Whether or not that turns into success, only time will tell.

Same at all grounds in Glen Eira . A new woman has taken over Parks with SFA turf knowledgeAwesome to have so many players, most clubs be envious to have that luxury
Their lack of off field help looks a concern
Understand it’s a council thing but don’t offer to host a game but cant provide goal posts, ground markings or change rooms
Underv19s , reserves and senors all changed outside with sport bags everywhere . No bar, canteen or even someone to blow the siren

Councils need to stay in their lane. Fill in the pot holes, run the libraries and take our *ing bins out. Leave it at that.
Don't see why goalposts can't stay up during summer/cricket season. Kingston Council keeps goal posts up at many grounds in their jurisdiction, not sure why others can't also do so.
You are correctIt would be to lessen the chance of people having a kick of the footy on the grounds during cricket season

Happened to pass Benna Arena on Sat, saw them play first half and out play a vafa side, Elsterwick I think. They looked sharp and quick. Number 14 and big full forward will cause problems. Their new rooms and social club are massive. Pity the ground is so small for senior football.
Well they didn't without a full strength team , they talked about the FF from Beena getting 1000 a game and 250 a goal !Elsternwick are an ok side but I'd expect an SFL div 2 team to give them a bit of a touch up.

He has bullshitted before."FF from Beena getting 1000 a game and 250 a goal"
The biggest problem in local footy right now.
He has bullshitted before.
An ex Div 1 coach told me dud players are wanting 1000 sign on and some 3 or 4 match payments in advance !
EB have recruited 12+ new senior players. Ex AFL and VFL.Blokes well into their 30's as well .
How will EB stay under the cap with all those recruits ?

I know Jewell has some pull but I would love to know if any paper bags are being used..
How many points are you allowed ?I know you’re excited, but EB will have 6-7 new players in their senior side from last year, walk up starters. There is a few more recruits, on top of that, but they are depth players at best, they will have to prove their worth with the rest of the squad.
Have lost about 8 from their senior side last year.

I was just asking , as had no idea , what is the $ cap as well . You would think after what's gone on with Wang that everyone will be on notice , which could be a good thing .I think it’s 46? Not entirely sure.
Also like to point out not one new recruit is off an AFL list or VFL list from last year, despite Sam Melb’s excitement. Strewth, I was on a QAFL list in 2006, does that count still?
