Looks the most even round of the season this week
Potentially top ranked 4 play each other, middle 4 the same and the bottom 2 play each other
Be doing well to pick 5 this week
I’ll back East Brighton by 50+
It would’ve been a lot more but a bit of rain around will bring them back to the field. Can’t see them not going 18-0, only the last month will mean anything to them.
Watched them last week and could easily push the top 5 in D1 with the side they have.

Gee I hope you’re right

I’d agree! This EB team is by far the best D2 team in the last decade. Still need to be healthy at the right time of the year of course as their team is very old but no1 is in the same weight class in D2. ( EB also a country mile over the 75k salary but good luck to them.)

Doveton still have Chapman out which will bring them near abouts but Beena, highett and HP look in a race for second place. Is anyone gonna match up with Tom Browne soon? Premiership captain as a midfielder and now leading the league goal kicking surely teams do their scouting reports

Watched Vampires v Redbacks today and the Vamps look like a Div 1 team. I'm tipping a EB v HP grand final with EB winning easily.

Not the greatest call Fink, trying to deviate some unwanted attention. Caulfield lost last week and only just knocked off Skye in Rd 1.
Only 1 team to watch in this division and we all know who that is 😉
They lost to Beena at Beena with a kick after the siren and most would have Beena a top 3 side
Beat Keysey at Keysey by 12 goals yesterday

21 straight senior losses now for East Malvern (It may be more but I can't locate 2021 results), what is going on down at the zoo???? I feel for the cockroach, it's clear the cattle just isn't there. It was nice to see the side put up some sought of fight on the weekend but they can already kiss finals goodbye. Focus needs to shift on beating the fellow cellar dwellers or Div 3 beckons.

Maybe the coach is the issue...just sayin

Last win was Round 10 of 2021 (the season that finished after Round 13)…..due to CoVid.
So essentially they lost the 3 games of that season too to bring their record to 24 straight losses. Surely a win is around the corner. I think they will beat some of those other lower ranked teams eg: Black Rock, Skye, Keysy.

If morrisby gets injured they’re in strife

This forum has a bit of juice and some East Brighton faithful it seems

After 3 - a not so close division after all

East Bri - a team of champions or a champion team? Look away when they play the bottom 3-4 teams. They’ve got the star power. Gun mids, big forwards
Plug them into the last dance

Highett - they are fast young and skillful. Lack a bit of height and size though. T Brown turning back the clock. Jackson and Duscher don’t seem to be slowing down either.

One team goes home undefeated on the weekend..

Caulfield - they’ll be a tough beat all year. Hardened team. They’ll strangle some sides this year

Hampton Park - another fast and young side. I was enjoying their work until EB gave them the business

Murrumbeena - good to see a side come up from Div 3 and challenge. I like Beena for finals. They’ve recruited some real class. Michael and Pollard are too good for Div 2

Doveton - no Chapman no Doveton ? Also there ground is a complete
construction site, they won’t be playing any home games there this year surely. Does this hurt them. Hampton Park to give them a 1-3 start

What’s happened about the incident at Skye? nothing on the site. Can’t find the tribunal findings. Surely you can’t have blokes king hitting people from behind and suiting up the following week.

East Malvern -
Morrisby and Peterson might be the best Tall back/Tall forward combo in the league. Change my mind

Was expecting more from Keysborough but there veteran retirements have really hurt them. Horrific scenes out at Skye. Keysy we’re starting to pull them back. Last Qtr would of been interesting. I’m against Skye getting the 4 points, if a player from your team causes an incident like that and you’re rewarded 4 points the league needs to look at themselves.. if it was a broken leg I can understand (anyway)

Black rock might still a couple games on heart this year but they’re going to have a tough year ahead

They will beat Keys and BR comfortably based on what Highett has seen. Got some guys who can really clunk a mark. Their top end is ok but their bottom 6 to 8 is their weakness.
