Bored at work- went through each team and how many players they've used/how many have played each game.. all points to Clayton being cooked!

Murrumbeena- 35 used/7 played each game
CPL- 31 used/8 played each game
Ashwood- 33 used/7 played each game
Narre Sth- 38 used/8 played each game
BR- 33 used/9 played each game
Clayton- 29 used/12 played each game
South Yarra- 46 used/2 played each game
EH- 42 used/1 played each game.

Food for thought

Last weekend shook things up a bit imo. Even though they lost, did Narre prove themselves a serious threat? They have Ashwood and BR coming up again in a couple weeks which will really see how they stack up against the best.

Beena bounced back well, from what I saw they played a good game and look a serious contender, although I think the style they play doesn’t stack up in the rain (hence the loss to Narre).

Yarra should be proud, that one was a good win, and they worked hard for it.

Ashwood losing to EHills is a shocker for them. Are they not as good as advertised?

Tips this weekend:

BR beat CPL by a goal
Narre will destroy Clayton
Ashwood beat Yarra by 40
Beena beat endeavour by 50

Oh.. so covid doesn’t exist at Clayton & Endeavour
Couldn't agree more. Swings and roundabouts, all these sides that have had good runs are now copping it. You just don't want to get it come finals time.

What are peoples thoughts on clubs not coming in for a beer post game ? It is an unspoken rule that you just go in win, lose or draw. Not 1 person (playing or associated) from a certain club that lost a game they thought they would win came in post game Saturday. Very poor form

Which club ? Maybe someone from said club can elaborate as to why.
Perhaps they were all helping someone move house after the game or they all booked an air bnb for the night to get away and didn't want to be late to pick up the key therefore maybe getting a bad review???

Judging by your post history it'd be whoever Clayton played

Name and shame

Didn’t get down to see any games this weekend. But the results are interesting.
-EHills, are they making a late push?
-Business as usual for Ashwood as Clayton’s win against Narre seems an outlier
-No result posted yet for Beena/Yarra but would assume Beena had no issues?
-Looks like Narre kicked themselves out of it against Black Rock

The rock still look the team to beat, with Beena the likely runner up. Carrum, Narre and Ashwood seem inconsistent, and EHills likely compete for the year and finish outside finals. Other two teams not in contention.
