Gussy is an absolute legend, I believe he worked with a lot of the boys around clayton and did the last preseason with Brendon at Lyndale. Dandy was close to max points a lot last year and clayton were sitting around the low 30's. hoping success for South Yarra had a hard few seasons with no home ground or facilities. be interesting at Ashwood alot seem to have moved to DoncasterAll minimum 4 points for the new Clayton recruits.
3 base points if you’ve played more senior footy than reserves.
+1 for playing directly against your old club.
+1 if you’ve had 3+ clubs in past 3 seasons.
Wonder if Clayton have put much thought into their recruiting strategy….Understand they have points to play with but when you’re worth 4 each, it adds up quick!
Dandy West on the other hand would drop near 20 points with a year under the players belts.

Who have Ashwood lost? I reckon St. Johns could surprise us next year..I’ve been in one of Gussys mental health seminars he’s a quality guy
Ashwood in strife have lost most of their best senior players will be super young
4 off my calculations. On that logic wood would be on 5 points then correct?

Carnally didn’t play last year he retired and played supers so can’t see him kicking to many dandy and Hallam would have beat St. John’s this season easily and a few of St John’s better players are older x keysy fringe players or 2s players only nick beer was a good senior player that played this seasonthey are my tip for the flag tbh
Carnelly will kick lots of snags
wilkinson griffin Rowe burger Mgivern all gone and top quality

All very dormant in here. What’s the D4 whispers in 2026?
Clayton to take the year with a powerhouse side?
Much of a rise from Doveton?
How will the St. John’s lads go in Southern?
looking at these comments over the last month or so it sounds like Clayton having a real go at a premiership this year and buying in a few players not sure if the right path to buy 30yr plus age group and if they win it all go to Div 3 with that age bracket. I like what Hallam did local young kids with a top up of older blokes and win the premiership then go up and the players are still hungry for success. No perfect way to win a flag but of course we will all wait for the footy expert on each club Cromball90 to have his say
Hampton and Frankston have done it well and why they have done the double jump, youth is the keythats literally what this forum is for makingupthenumbers

did i hurt your feelings about a club bro ?
to respond to your post above as it’s what the site is for clayton are cooked if they go up ageing list and no jnr system
