If you are serious, yes, they're playing opens only this year. So logically, the league should go back to 4 team finals, but logic isn't always the strong suit around these parts.

I honestly had no clue about South Yarra. And yes they should go back to 4 team finals.

Confirmed top 5 at SFNL season launch.

Bottom 3 for mine in no particular order will be Narre Sth, Lyndale & Moorabbin.

I like the top 5 system and it helps generate more money for the SFNL.

Moorabbin will come last no doubt.

ashwood bolters? they were to quick for a slow looking clayton team.
very ordinary i think for a team spending money if you ask me, half the recruits lucky to get a kick

Even though it’s one game, Clayton are cooked. Must win to prove they’re a top 3 chance and they were so average that I actually like the look of doveton over them. Very very poor and for spending all that money and having that confidence, just not good enough.

Well it is the first game but a somewhat shock result. Clayton will need to improve.

think clayton were poor yes but ashwood also look very good. moved the ball very well and there talls looked the part. be interesting to see how they pair up to a dandy west squad

Man you seriously have an issue with Doveton champ, have you seen them play in their practice match's from what im hearing your going to have some serious egg on your face if they turn out to be ok.
So go put your dress back

Doveton are probably better than Clayton at this point in time.

I came away thinking Ashwood were very good, not that Clayton was bad.

Managed to get down to Ashwood’s ground yesterday and this statement is spot on. Clayton have some pretty handy players but Ashwood were very good in all aspects. Plenty of fans turned up as well which was great to see for both clubs. Only question is what happened with Angus Wood? He originally signed at Clayton and has now signed at Violet Town I believe.
