Snuff tobacco

So I was once a smoker and recently a mate of mine brought me back some snuff tobacco from Germany.

It is ground tobacco which you sniff, sound stupid, right?

My exact thoughts at first. However it smells/tastes almost Minty (no it's not menthol). Also it really opens your nasal passage after sniffing it.

Any one else tried/uses or heard of it?

Yeah my Uncle loves it I give a run when I catch up with him every now and again. He imports it there are all different sorts not all are minty.

Yeah you can't buy it here but you can get it in. He just gets it posted over and pays the tax. Sometimes it gets through and he doesn't have to pay the tax. Only gets it for personal use he doesn't sell it.
