Anyone had a bet that you thought was in the bag, just to be pipped in a photo finish or protest?
On the way out of the TAB today slipped a mystery trifecta in for Ascot with the favourite and two roughies paying $7-8 a place each.
The favourite wins, one of the roughies comes second paying $7.70 and the other roughie is pipped by a nose in a photo.
Would have been a good $300-$400 bonus (even though the fave won) for a big day at the Derby
