Some of you may have noticed that I'm a new poster here.

Well, to get to know you all I thought I'd ask everyone to let me know who their favourite player is, and why? What makes them so admirable, why do they stand out? And why are they so important to your team? And can we please just have a serious discussion. Don't bother if your just going to come on and start bagging ppl, teams or players. Just name your fav player, and why. Kristy has spoken.

One of my favouurites was Martin Leslie, especially when he played for the Port Magpies, he never took a step backwards for anyone, just ask Dermie.

Currently, probably Fabian Francis, he is a goer, and has made the most of the abilites he has

I don't think I actually have a favourite. Although Brett Ratten would probably come the closest.

Finally a sensible post! Luke Mccabe is my favourite player because he gets unfairly bagged by Hawk supporters, but yet is one of our most consistent players, getting the best small forward every week. Favourite player from opposition club has to be Paul Kelly, how honest is that bloke!

John Blakey. He has provided great service to North since moving across from Fitzroy, and if anything, his standard of play has improved over the last couple of years.

Not only is he great ambassoador for the North Melbourne Football Club, but his is a great ambassador for AFL in general.

Well i love the whole team but there are two men i admire the most.
Wayne Campbell and Duncan Kellaway.

Campbell because he is quite gutsy and can help all around the ground. He always trains hard and is a great person.

The same things apply to Duncan. He is extremely gutsy and will do anything for the club. Isn't the best kick but he makes his precense(sp?) felt in every game.

My fav player was Justin Murphy, for the dynamic way he played his footy at Carlton. I loved the way he would just merely seem to kick the footy with the slightest touch and it would still go 60 Meteres.

He was fast and exciting. I know he's still all of those things, and I still have a soft spot for him, I just figure I should adopt a new Carlton player as my fav, and that's Ang Christou. I admire his dedication, and the way he's persisted to overcome all his injuries, and now looks fitter and better than ever in the pre season. He's also a damn exciting footballer when fit, and a great club man.

Jason Mooney would have to be my fav, for the way he crashes into players like it's a demolition derby.
it's a pity he has so many injuries.
