~kewlest players round!!!

I feel the same way as JubJub, the Hawks got nothing too, hes called Dent. You would think that we would have learnt as well Young/Sharkey/Ridley but they keep drafting 3rd rate over the hill hacks. Very very pissed off right now. The worst signing since....since....SINCE YOUNG!!! GGRRRR Pess can i borrow your username for a while?

Even though it's a huge risk for the Swans
to pick Stephen Tingay, I'm pleased for Stinger that he was picked. Hopefully, crossing fingers, he can get some valuable games in for us. I guess, at the very least, he'll be able to help out some of the younger kids at the club.

No pick = no O'Connor. Happy as a pig in shit.

Reasonably happy with Stinger although I just hope that he is still fit - I doubt it though.

But, as Sydneyfan suggests, even if he never plays a single senior game for us he will still be useful as an experienced hand in the 'twos' - will help alot of the young guys to settle into their game.

cheers

No pick meant we could not make a mistake (read O'Connor).
Absolutely delighted.

daddy_4_eyes I agree, Troy Wilson was a fantastic pickup for the club and I'm hoping for big things in 2001. He's been a great player for West and East Perth and a strong mark. Hey, he cant do any worse than White and Gherig this year

Hey, watch it Shinboners, I've got a copyright on that. Not bad though.

Go Eagles

Must be some bloody good players then that got selected in the national draft and pre-season draft with selections 1 or 2

On the topic of the thread title, I would say that I'm happy with the outcome for Crows, the only club to have picked up two players in this draft. It is a little hard to tell at this stage though.

Richardson promises to be able to add significant marking power to Crows forward line. Something they have not had in abundance for some years. I'm not sure about Ladams, but the word is he may be able to add bite to the midfield. Certainly thats what he himself hopes to be able to do, ambition is to play every game in 2001. We'll see.

Happy with the Roos being exempt from the draft, at least now there is a carrot to dangle in front of the rookies if they are good enough...

Yes I am happy with the Crows picks.

Richo will make an impact and Ladhams will be a reasonable back up midfielder.

servo ladhams is a small forward at best
left footer with good skills, but lacks pace, strenth
perhaps with the opportunity he may develop but i dont see it happening
too many injuries
but good luck to him anyway

I am not that happy. We need to fix our backline, yet no changes have been made for next year. I thought we were going to get Berbakov, so I don't know what happened there. Anyway, good luck to Stephen Tingay. He was always one of my favourites and I hope it works out for him although I wouldn't hold high hopes about that.
