Ahhhh debate on Bigfooty....gotta love it.

What's your level of expertise in this area?

Who said we were debating anything? You said something with not only no source (which is fine) but without any actual explanation or logic. It was just a baseless assertion that you think many people living in west asia agree they want to be ruled by brutal and violent dictators.

I called that bollocks.

My level of expertise is significant and private.

This whole board is a debate and exchange of ideas.

I lived in the ME for 5 years and worked the GCC, spent time in Egypt (pre spring but post Saddam) & met a lot of Iraqis, Arabs & Egyptians. The want of strong and determined leadership to keep the country stable and keep troublesome elements under control (this ='s violently) was a pretty common theme.

Indians & Phillipinos didn't have the same views.

Look at the UAE - they've basically got a benevolent dictator and the locals I know wouldn't have it any other way. KSA -I don't think are as keen with their lot.

The problem with this model is when you get Saddam rather than Zyed.

Maybe I'm wrong and the majority of people I spoke with just made this s**t up ...maybe it's like a drop bear story Middle East style or maybe views have changed significantly?

It's just my personal experience which I share as a benevolent poster.

Oh and I call bullshit on your significant experience.....but as it's private I guess you just have to suck it up.

So now you equate strong and determined leadership with wanting a brutal dictatorship?

Maybe you conpletely musunderstood the people you met. It seems like thats what happened.

And again, bollocks.

and isn't it amazing how the all-powerful lizard people couldn't prevent the power of trump and the people?! seriously, just how impotent are our unstoppable overlords!?
The advent of the absolute proliferation ofmobile phone camera coupled with social medias has killed the propaganda machines effectiveness. So while the western media tells us rebels good, Assad bad, when the moderate rebels of Nouri Ed din al zinki behead a 12 year old and post it to there twitter, the truth about the scum soon becomes obvious. Back in the old days no one knew anything without going there, or being told.

One man's tyrant is another man's strong dictator- often depends on your ethnicity.

Was Syria a better place under a brutal dictator or now? Reckon there would be more than a few who would think it was ...not all but I'm not arguing all.

I just wish we'd let these countries take their own path - an Iraqi overthrow of SH would not of opened the door on DAESH.

Anyway until ASIO declassify you I guess you can't really engage in the debate.

The September 17 airstrike that killed 62 and injured 100 Syrian soldiers in Deir ez-Zor was a result of an “unintentional, regrettable error,” the US Central Command has said.
The mistake was "primarily based on human factors," Brigadier-General Richard “Tex” Coe, who headed the CENTCOM investigation, told reporters in a teleconference on Tuesday.

Hillary's war. She's gone and so has the support.

Eunuch guard?

He seems a tad obsessed with bollocks.

Im just calling out a massive bullshitter for their racism.

There is a difference between "was iraq better off under a socialist dictator or a group of theocratic capitalist dictators?" And "arabs yearn to be ruled by a brutal dictator".

And your entire argument stems from some personal conversations you had. Conversations that most likely did not actually occur.

So yeah, bollocks.

Can anyone point to a country with an average IQ of less than 90 that has a successful democracy?

Or is the concept of IQ racist?

THE U.S would be your best bet....Though it's highly debatable weather or not one can still refer to it as a democracy.

USA has an average IQ of 98, though I would guess it is steadily falling gradually as is the case with most western countries.

Do the people even check their facts before posting?

LOL. I.Q averages & facts....Good one.

I asked for an example of a country with an average IQ of less than 90 with a successful democracy.

You reply with the US. I state the FACT that the US currently has an average IQ of 98.

Your reply? "LOL" I guess that's the best dimwits on BF can come up with.
