I can't hear anything...mmmmm...I've read it and your full of crap..:thumbsu:
did you read the rest of the post, why are you disputing it?

The fact he took the youngest list with no draft pick higher then 7 to a preliminary final, compared to what Clarkson has done, traded for endless draft picks, be gifted priority picks and still finish no higher then 11th to this point.

just give me some reasons, or is your reason "he just has been"

I know you won't like to hear this, but Mark Thompson was far better at re-buliding a side then Clarkson, and he kept his side competitive.

With no pick higher then pick 7, he was able to take the youngest team in the AFL to a preliminary final in 2004, unfortunately after that he seemed to lose the faith of the player group, and his game plan seemed to be found out.

I think Clarkson has got the right players and people at his club, but I feel his tactics shouldn't be employed by any coach and he seems to be protecting his young players to much, but I guess only time will tell.

Tin cam sam does have apoint there. Thompson managed to rebuild his side without bottoming out like what Clarkson has done.

Just to clarify, Clarkson didn’t draft the kids nor did he off load Thompson, Hay, Rawlings etc. to other clubs – Chris Pelchen and Gary Buckenara are the only ones that can take credit for getting the Franklin’s, Birchall’s etc. to the club. To date Clarkson has done a creditable job developing the talent and getting the players united and on side, but his real test as a coach will come to a lesser extent this season and certainly in 2008 when expectations are raised at all levels.
So Clarkson has no say in the list management and what type of players come to the club? He must have an easy ride down at Hawthorn.

Fair enough, but as recruiters I'm sure they gave their opinions on who to draft and narrowed down the sample size significantly.

Having said that, from all reports Clarkson over ruled Buckenara in the 2004 draft and pushed for Roughead and Franklin, so I guess he can take credit for the recruiting (to an extent)

Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% behind Clarkson and believe he has the potential to be an excellent long term coach, but we can't really judge him as a coach until he has the cattle on the park to be competitive week in week out.

A Richmond fan commenting on delusion and obsessions.

Thats like an Eagles player criticising Goodwin for his behaviour.

I don't see him saying that, i just see H2F talking utter shyte as usual, obvioulsy jelous because Wallace rejected the Hawks, just like Brown did, and he is stuck with Danny Frawley MKII
His obsession amazes me,he's started two threads today and we should look forward to about half a dozen tomorrow.

IF Dork Zackson, and his no-name backline mates get a few years experience under their skinny belts and are actually any good.

Clarko was out-tanked. Can the man do anything well?
As a Hawk, very funny Smithers very funny...:thumbsu: ...and a lot of people thought you were a useless prick?
