Australians celebrate? We carry on like pork chops at the tennis and have lost the ability to celebrate anything. Australia Day should be January 1st, (Australia became a nation), but they won't do that because it's already a holiday! I would advocate July12th as a holiday also celebrating the (Australian Aboriginal Flag) being first flown at Victoria Square in Adelaide, South Australia ...None of this will ever happen, too much division in this country now. It's not a nice place anymore.

I like both Thursday and Fridays because of this reason.

Always liked Thursday's feel tbh. Not Monday-Wednesdays tho they can gagfd. And also Sunday evenings.

I reckon we need to have a three day public holiday for the nation being the weekend before the first monday in February.
Saturday we celebrate our indigenous history.
Sunday we celebrate all the people who have come here since we were colonised.
Monday we celebrate the future.

But that’s just an idea.
