I can't pick it yet. Is he changing our game plan? Are the boys any tougher? Is the coaching box evolving differently or a touch dysfunctional or have we just been unlucky in two tough games? Thoughts.

Voss is the midfield coach of a midfield that isn't working hard enough atm. Can't blame him for that I haven't noticed any major changes in there, but then again I haven't noticed much from our midfield cos they've been beaten 1st 2 games.

Too early for this thread, can't pick holes in the midfield dynamic/structure after just 2 games against 2 of the most hardened onball groups in the comp, our skipper & best mid is banged up 2 rounds in & we're without our best ruckman & vice captain.

I think our forward coach probably deserves a little more criticism at this point in time, there's no structure whatsoever.

We're now first in disposal efficiency as opposed to 16th last year?
Wines has seemed to elevate his game to another level once again?
Honestly, it's far too early to judge. And I know we're going to get a lot of the newbies around here with all this over reactionary thread crap, but the small amount of influence that Voss actually has on the output of the whole club will need a large sample size to become evident.

First in disposal efficiency because we are kicking short and wide to uncontested players, instead of hitting the danger spots in our forward line with quick, direct kicking.

I'd love to see the stat for our forward half kicking efficiency in the past two weeks. Would be close to 30-40%, judging by appearances.

Voss coaching our midfield has coincided with our ruck division getting smashed 2 weeks in a row

Our set up at stoppages all night was shithouse. Im glad Matthew Lloyd showed a couple of examples on the ch 9 footy show this morning. At one bounce down it was 7 swans to 1 port player. FFS when we are getting smashed in the clearances how hard is to tell the players to go man on man for a few consecutive ball ups??.

I hope someone asks Hinkley or one of the players about that in a presser this week. The midfield stoppages at times were appalling last night. This 7 v 1 wasn't an odd occurrence, it happened frequently. Were the players just buggered and couldn't get to the stoppage? Or was it by design?

I swear there were double the number of Swans players on the ground last night.

Whilst the fanboys wetting themselves over pictures of him wrestling Wines were always going to be in for a shock when his aura of legendary toughness didn't automatically transplant itself into each and every member of our list, it's incredibly premature and most likely misguided to blame him when things have started poorly.

I was pretty upset at the way we played last night and found round one very frustrating, but remember the hubris and snickering about Franklin, Tippett and co that was prevalent this time last year when Sydney started 1 and 3? A few months later and they're being lauded as virtual montys for back to back. One bad game later and they are all heartless spuds in it for the money.

It's a bloody long season. Signs haven't been good but shit changes so fast.

The Hawks lost a game: so where is Clarkson at? Clearly the game has gone past him.
Three time premiership coach......will have no questions asked and rightly so. We however and the gameplan we wheeled out yesterday deserves questions to be asked. We have yet to achieve anything - we are chasing like the other17 teams that didn't win last years flag.
