hodge will be cheaper than broughton he is in the drummond premium bracket now

I make it that Hodge will be up to $500K and Broughton around $470K. They should still be close the week after as Broughton crosses $500K.

There's no way I'd get Broughton over Hodge if I had a choice

Myself though, I've decided to plonk him on the bench and put Hurley on the ground (still have Scooter on bench in case) and trade him come finals, unless of course Hurley becomes a Grimes/Broughton type and dominates then I may just keep him

Nah, but i had a choice between Grimes and Broughton starting and chose Grimes..

When i logged onto fanfooty on Saturday night (at qtr time) and saw that Adcock had 5 DT points, i was secretly hoping he had a clanger and was on 0 for SC so i could get Broughton's score, but alas, it was not to be.

Broughton now gets the gig and Adcock is benched. Not using a valuable trade when i have Broughton scoring so well (better than most replacements i could get for Adcock)

I have Broughton on the bench, which is pretty adequate cover for Adcock. But at Drummond's price this & next, hard to resist, just in case the Grimes/Broughton train comes to an end....

You probably have cover for Adcock and not for Cox so that would force your next trade. With only 3 left I'd hang on after that until you have no cover in defence and do something then, if you can.

Adcock's was probably your 4-5th defender? Not as important as if you lost your 1st or 2nd mid to LTI, for example. So you don't need to rush the Adcock trade.

Don't get McMahon. Not unless he's selected, anyway.

Lake/Hargrave seem to be doing well since Gilbee is carrying an injury. I traded S Hill to Lake about four weeks ago.

Good on ya, Jed. I hated on you for at least 11 rounds of the season, and you overall delivered plenty for the season in my defence. I will feel a little bit bad about cutting your throat, burning your corpse, and welcoming your left-footed, long-kicking, high-scoring teammate to the fold.

Has Carazzo been injured this year or just struggling to hold his spot? A definite candidate as he can score big. Big risk though.

Carrazzo has been injured early in the year, im looking at getting either him or Duffield for Adcock, its a very tough decision. i would get Hodge but the prospect of him finishing the season early scares me off. Carrazzo and Duffield play similar roles in there teams, both can score very big.

duffield looks to have dropped off lately.

i can't decide where to go adcock to lake and m brown to davey, gettin me an average rise of 40 points costing 187k
or go adcock to hargreave gettin 15 points costing 75k but saving a trade.

i have 5 trades left and 195k in the bank. any thoughts?

Unless you took Broughton at the start I'd avoid it. Drummond is cheaper and is a proven high scorer. His "risk" is injuries. You could get a more guaranteed gun than Broughton at that price. His price has basically hit premium. I have had him from the start though. Just about to cash him in soon- next week
