Sober at a wedding

Went to a wedding and reception yesterday. Not drinking in 2019. ****ing never doing one sober again. Not much to talk about after 6-7 hours.

The wedding i went to yesterday was Polish. Man those poles know how to put on a party- had half a dozen drinks to choose from on the table, then another half a dozen choices to order via the waiter. The food was one of the best ive ever had at a wedding as well. The rib eye..



I regret going the white wine tho. Should have done beer.

Going to a greek birthday actually in 2 weeks time. I am hoping to get our Zorba on, its been a while.

If you're cutting back but don't want to teetotal, try and just be a social drinker. Never drink alone.

I had gastro on the Monday, was in hospital and went to a wedding on the Saturday. After 3 drinks I had nothing in me. All my friends were slaughtered and had the best night. I was home by 10.30.

Was kind of nice not to be a total mess for once but definitely felt like I missed out on a great night, despite being there.

If you can talk shit for 6-7 hours you don't need alcohol.
Take some chemicals and dance like a champ for 10 hours.
