I thought I attached it...
Would be happy with any of 2, 3 or 4. Really like the way the letters weave into the circles on those last two. Number two is a lot like their second previous logo which I always enjoyed. The first one should be left in the 70s or whenever it was from, the monogram is shit.

the double lines surrounding the acronym tread the line perfectly between over-simplistic and too busy. featuring the est isn't essential-if a 4-digit number is on a club crest, everyone knows what it means.

either of the 3rd/4th would be great.

Seems a bit amateur. "CITY" looks really odd not following the curve. I'm not keen on the shield protruding into the roundel either.

I feel like it would look a lot cleaner by ditching the shield altogether and having the elements framed in a bisected circle.

I thought the same thing at first, but if you look at some of their older logos, it makes sense.
Hmmm fair point. The way it protrudes outside the centre circle just looks a bit awkward I guess. Also not too keen on the straight "City" at the bottom.

So it's Chelsea's logo moved the red rose to the middle and enlarged it, through in the City of Manchester ship above it (same as the United logo) and put an Arsenal shaped shield (sort of) with some shit font that doesn't go with it. Farking spare me

This is pretty interesting – the unreleased Man U kit that Nike did for this season. Imagine having access to the vaults of these massive companies, checking out all the attempted and aborted and never-were items.

Oh, the other thing, this just reminded me of the CFS Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP-9ucv670hRZDG2pWDV7kA)

Trawling through clothes websites is always good fun, but CFS is no doubt my favourite. I don't know how much I've sprayed into their coffers but I've never regretted much. Working in that warehouse would also be a pretty good job.

City don't need to change their logo. It's already brilliant in my opinion and I feel like they're going backwards by changing it to something more in line with the other citygroup clubs
The historical ones the "new" one is based off look way better than the current one. That and the consistent branding across all teams makes it a no brainer.

Yeah but city really only became prominent again under this logo. I see it as a new era for them, it's kind of being chucked aside for a generic circle.

Not generic - historically relevant. I think their current one is way worse. The eagle looks heaps silly half hidden behind the shield. What's with the 3 meaningless stars in a sport where stars on badges universally represent championships of some sort?

Personally I think Dean Robinson nailed it.

I dunno, I just like seeing something a bit different. A lot of teams in the English leagues use circles or shields. The eagle is something a bit different which I instantly recognise. I mean some of those older ones remind me of blackburn rovers. For example; I go for spurs and our cockerel is pretty different from anything else. I just thought teams would want something a bit more independent that catches they eye of fans?

I like the Dean Robinson version, can it work without the shield shape in the middle? Or is there too much light blue and not enough contrast?

Could barely get past the word Chelsea in this post (unlike the many other teams that have already got past them this season)

As if this crest borrows from other clubs in any way at all? I only piped up at your post because it's drawing such ridiculously long bows. It's directly inspired from our 90s logo
