Even if the previous kit was only around for a couple of years, you can't pretend it was a bad kit. City doesn't make their club wear the same away kit, see NYCFC.

Wish Leicester dropped the gold accents from their kits. Also, they should be in white shorts. Looks 10x better than all blue. Clearly the Thai owners have had a say in the minor yet noticeable kit adjustments of the past few seasons.

It'd be tolerable without the unsightly Postbank logo. I did a bit of research looking for an alternative way to present the company on Gladbach's shirt, however it seems that yellow plays a role in the brand association for consumers.

The fans complain about the yellow box every year. Its just something to live with.

That Kappa kit itself just looks like the worst generic 2008 kit ever. Genuinely terrible. Gladbach did a nice all white kit a few years back in Reus' last season at the club but they should really be sticking to the classic stripe or two.

How about a centre green stripe flanked by two black stripes? I like this Gladbach shirt from 1973:
