g'day guys

very sorry to start a new topic just for this but just wondering what happens if one of the legs in your multi draws?

i had this multi at the start of the soccer season in august;

smeltz to be a-league top scorer (8.00)
rooney to be epl top scorer (11.00)
inter to win serie a (1.50)
bayern to win bundesliga (1.80)
spain to win world cup (5.50)

$10 for potential payout of $13,068.80.

obviously smeltz and bayern have already won, and inter are 2 points clear with 2 games to go. but rooney is level with drogba with one game to play. they've now taken it off the market so i can't hedge with drogba. if rooney does draw would that mean the entire bets odds halve or just rooney's odds?

i realise all this is probably immaterial cos spain are no sure things to win the cup especially with torres and xavi in doubt, but just thought i'd ask.

thanks in advance. :thumbsu:

Same thing. So if Rooney and Drogba draw you can halve your 13 grand

At least 2 of those legs are going to fall over. Trade out if you can and take some kind of profit now. ;)

you could be right but at the moment, the 3 legs still in play i have the fav for. inter as i said are 2 points clear with 2 games to play and although roma have been in terrific form they've faltered slightly.

both united and chelsea have what should be home bankers on the last day of the season. both on same amount of goals fingers crossed wazza can pip him at the post.

an of course the world cup is a bit of a lottery but spain are outright favs at $5.

so although i know it probably wont get up, i wouldnt swap any of my picks in the 3 remaining legs for anything else.

fingers crossed.

Rooney hasn't scored for a while and everyone knows Spain can't win World Cups. :)

Inter look safe though.

so your bookie has taken down epl top goalscorer market, that doesn't mean you can't hedge your bet with another bookie.

betfair will still have it up.

Personally, i would ride it out and hedge Spain if Rooney and Inter get up. That just my opinion though.
Rooney getting up is the worry. If he decides to leave the bet and Rooney DOES get up (and Inter ofcourse), then laying Spain would be the best option. Can't see Spain winning and you'd lock in a guaranteed profit of thousands.

Didn't he say that Top scorer had closed tho? I just tried on betfair and it wouldn't let me see the market, not sure about other places.

You obviosuly have no clue then..
Sorry, can't see them winning. If you weren't born yesterday, you would know about Spain's long and proud history of falling over in the World Cup. And since I obviously did have a clue about Rooney not beating Drogba, the bet in question has fallen over already.
