I don't get why people think Holman is shit. He gets regular game time in the best team in the Dutch league. He also is a bit different to other players in our squad- he actually has some spark and creativity about him. If he could just improve his final ball and distribution he'd be a very very good player however he's a pretty solid member of our squad. Certainly a much better option than Oar at this stage IMO.

does anyone else here really not rate Pim as a coach??? i mean... Spiranovic, one of our leading defence prospects, didnt even make the initial squad!!! (im unaware of any injuries to him) and i would have preffered lowry over milligan... our stop start play and lack of creativity will hold the rest of the WC teams in awe hopefully!!! (untill the round of 16 anyway)

Wilkshire and Emerton can play RB. Chipperfield and Carney can play LB.

Culina has played as a fullback in Holland and Milligan could pinch hit if desperate. You don't take a specialist third string fullback when you have a finite squad of 23. Then again Garcia is an uber hack I hope someone is keeping Scotty Mac away from sharp objects.

No it isn't. Federici is a better 'keeper than Eugene. He has had a stellar season at Reading and deserves his spot.

Carney was very shaky and looked unfit. He was also letting his man get free when denmark were looking to switch it over to him and he was getting caught out. Carney is only there cause he is left footed.
