Soft bunch of over hyped down hill skiers.
As soon as sides play us man on man we fall apart an no one is prepared to run hard to make a difference.
I hope we loose next week so we save ourselves the humiliation of being belted out of the finals in week 1.

Why are people surprised about this?

Our whole game plan and philosophy under Knights is about attacking the game. There's nothing about getting in the trenches and digging your heals in.

Look at the way St Kilda go about their game under Lyon. Pies under MM. Crows under Craig. Flags are won by teams that can defend the best and have a defensive mindset. Until we get that we'll be the great entertainers but get nowhere.

All you need to do is look at MM defensive masterpiece on away games to know what is required to win the tough games.

All I'm saying is that whenever we have an awesome win you piss off and hide, but as soon as we do something wrong you come back saying that we're shit blah blah blah blah blah. We missed Dempsey and Ryder today, hopefully they'll be back next week to help us beat the Hawks

Look at the game mate. Fremantle went one-on-one like Collingwood, like North, like WCE, and we simply haven't been willing to work hard enough to space.

Finals footy is about hard running, a will to work, and being able to stick to a man and play on him.

This team refuses to play the required football.

Piss off Kelvin. You where the one that was predicting a top 4 finish at the start of the year . Dont come on here now and sprout words of wisdom and place the blame solely on the coach.

On top of that you start on how flags are won on defensive mindeset but you give me a spray when i dare to pick out blokes who can not find a man or when i said we will not make a GF with Stanton, Watson, Prismall and Lovett in the midfield.

You can't make a general thread about softness and then go attack me for stating the coach should be dictating the hardness and tactics of the side.

Another one our your schoolboy analysis/tactics gone wrong. We should run harder..... well der. How about you work with the pawns at your disposal and try and scratch out a win.

How about plan B and slowing the game right down and nto get 30 points down just after querter time.
 
We are an absolute disgrace!! Matthew knights has not brought us any further than where Sheedy had us. We won 10 games in 2007 and have won 6 games 2008 and 9 games 2009. What a big mistake we have made appointing Knights. Today was one of the most INSIPID performances I have ever seen.. We are going to be the next Richmond for 20 years.. Brent Stanton is wearing the illustrious number five and it actually shame's me to see him wearing it. If he is our future then we might as well just play in the VFL.... The only good player we have left is fletcher when he retires we are in all sorts....

Am i reading the bolded comment correctly that you don't believe these four guys will be in Essendon's next premiership midfield, if that is correct what would you do with these four, would you trade them or delist them or play them elsewhere on the ground?
