Gets substituted at half time - has a shower and gets dressed and does not stay to watch the second half. He left the ground.

Not nice Judas

Leave him alone, he is still scarred from his encounter with the footballing god Bobby Zamora, It will take time for him to get over it, but with counselling and football lessons from Bobby he will get on with life.

I doubt he will be going. Terry and Carragher would surely be the preferred pairing.

Based on the talk on the radio he will be lucky to be playing for Arsenal let alone England

Is Carragher really english???, I could swear he was irish, anyway if he is English then you would think he is gone from the team by now, he was dreadful today. Cant help but think Toure makes him look better then he really is.

What exactly happened? It was near half-time when I switched on and had to keep the sound down because Mrs M was in bed

FWIW he wouldn't be in my first-choice England line-up on recent (i.e. last couple of years) form either.

I never watched the game this morning, but i thought Carragher was a sub today with Agger paired with Hyypia. Did he come on in the 2nd half?

Well Campbell made two mistakes that led to West Ham scoring two goals. Was substituted by Wegner at half time and rightly so.

Appears Sol must have cracked the sooks as he had a shower got changed and left the ground and did not bother to watch the second half.

All this in front of Sven ;)

I think Rafa thought this was a good game to rest a few key players. Personally i think he pulled the wrong rein in terms of who he left out. Would have thought Hyypia was the player to rest and leave Carra to start and maybe sub him off later in the game. Cisse was not even in the squad.

Alonso and Fowler came on but Carra remained on the bench.

However it should not have mattered who we put out there they should have been good enough to beat Birmingham.

So out of a maximum 6 points we picked up only 2 against Birmingham. Disappointing to say the least.

Amusing to see a few of the Tottenham fans poking their heads up for a giggle. I can understand their mirth, imagine all those trophies he would have won if the silly twit had have stayed at the Lane :D

Apparantly Sol is struggling mentally after the loss of his father, apparantly its really hit him hard and hes thinking about taking a month away from football to sort his head out

It seems he is having a rough time personally which is effecting him on the pitch I guess.

After what he`s provided Arsenal and what Arsenal have provided him , I think , after hearing more of this story most Arsenal fans will cut him a bit of slack. Loved the post Desie, imagine if the poor bastard had stayed at yiddoville.
