1. Why did Arsenal let him leave for free. No doubt he would be playing for them today.

2. Why didnt Newcastle get him when he wanted to go there and there defence clearly blows?

Because he initially wanted to go abroad and Arsenal realised that getting a transfer fee for him from a foreign club was going to be nigh on impossible, so the contract was made null and void. He only had a year left anyway.

Ah ok. Thought it was a bit harsh to cancel his contract. But that kinda makes sense

Im surprised Benno knows who Gabbidon is. Impressed

I don't think Sol's been really tested yet, and when that happens I reckon he will be found out.

Having said that, he has done better than I expected so far, but there got to be question marks over his phyusical and mental durability.

As far as Arsenal goes, I think they were fairly happy to have his wages off the books.

He's a laughing stock.... would'v fit in perfectly beside Titus at Newcastle
He is part of the defence which is one of just a few that is yet to conceded a goal this season, lets take a look at the stats

2.Portsmouth W3 L0 D1 GS 8 GC 0 Pts 10

9.Liverpool W1 D1 L1 GS 3 GC 5 Pts 4

So in conclusion, it proves that Liverpool and their defence is in fact a laughing stock, whereas ours is as solid as a rock. Also Liverpools defence is also a laughing stock, couldn;t score once V Everton and only scored 1 V Sheffield United yet it cost a lot less than ours!

We didn't get him because Roeder was young players, and he didn't get Woodgate because he is too injury prone apparantly, both players will have massive seasons, us not shoring up the defence was a massive mistake and i can see us languishing near the relegation zone all season unless we get some focus and play like we did with Roeder as the caretaker, and fast.
