I don't.
One of the big reasons he's doing so well is because he's been given freedom from playing in the backline. He was always good in a midfield or half forward role. Very happy to see him doing well. Could be a win for everyone if Houli and Reimers make it.

At Freo he plays on the foward flank, not in the backline, i'm happy to see him striving at his new club.

Just glad he's proving himself as a good player again. I remember when you got him a lot of Freo supporters were very suprised and didn't see a spot for him in your 22, while many others including Dons fans thought he was finished. He'd be in the top 10 of your B&F just about yeah ?
Sorry but I wouldnt take back the clangers and undisciplined free kicks he gave away playing the back line last year, how quickly some of you forget.

I'd rather Houli.
I think it was a decent overall trade. Freo needed the hard body more than us and we desperately needed to rebuild after 2006.

The on field behavior of the Essendon players has changed alot since last year. After most of the harsh free kicks payed against us alot of the boys tented to talk back to the umpires and this caused 50 meter penalty's the main culparate of this was Dean. Alot has changed this year and once a decisions is payed against us the boys just get on with it and we have reduced our 50 meter count compared to last year and alot of that is due to Dean moving to Freo.

I think that Dean was a loss last year, but I do think we covered him with others stepping up or playing different roles... I hope that Houli and Remiers do end up being better than Solly, which looks promising at the moment...
As to 50m penalties, I think that McVeigh was also one of the biggest umpire back chatters at the club, even up to the Wizard Cup he was still doing it... But its so much better that Essendon now has the right discipline in the team and as it shows has improved the team greatly...

Really? Why is it everytime i watch Freo hes giving away an unneccessary free kick or 50? Or even getting reported?
In the long term, we will come out very well out of this.
We probably got the best years out of solly, and Houli & Riemers should be good players for a long period of time.

Lets see them play a few senior games first.
Just because they're 18 does not mean they're any good.
I'm still skeptical about how this trade will pan out to be honest.
