Hey guys how did dean play yesterday, i see he kicked a couple, i still cant get over that we got rid of him for *** all, if he gets fit he will be an important part of your structure

His pressure was great, I though he never stopped trying, even when he wasn't getting the ball, did the best he could, got a few goals, good first impressions.

6 tackles is an excellent start, and was his usual a hard at the ball. And chimed in a with a couple of goals that could have been three.

Played well, his miss from 30 metres on 3/4 time hurt us though. He should have been moved to the backline in the middle of the third quarter.

Solly was good, better than I think any of us could have hoped for.

Reckon that injury is the only chance that Troy Cook has this year. Which is a shame because I'm a big fan of Cookies', but based on what we saw yesterday, Solly is a better player.

Was great in 1st half - did fade....will be better suited when playing over east & not on Subi Oval. Was surprised he made the distance with those 2 goals from 50m...the miss on the 3/4 time siren though...hurt

No undisciplined acts to talk of? Not being sarcastic or anything, but this is he ultimante reason I believe Essendon got rid of him, so I'm wondering whether he has cleaned up his act yet.

Free kicks- For 3 Against 0 :thumbsu:

I'd imagine he would have had one eye on round two so there was no chance of him getting reported yeterday.

If our backline is under seige again this week I'd like to see Solomon used in the Heath Black role of filling space accross half back. After ten years in defence he should be perfectly suited, and he won't be scared to fill the hole infront of Lloyd Bridges and George Lucas.

i know, i still cry myself to sleep at night ;) . i rushed home to see the game and thought he fit in nicely. i've been looking forward to this weeks game since the fixture came up...i hate to say it, but a little part of me hopes we (the bombers) lose.
