no real surprise there, essendon's offer was no where near good enough. having said that, solomon is being very greedy.

LOL you'd know it.. I missed the report typing this post out.. Anybody else watch it? What did it say besides th obvious that he quit?

Isn't this Solomon's first year back after two knee reco's? You'd think he would owe the club a little wouldn't you? I reckon it sets up a N.Stevens to Essendon scenario though.

why? because he got a better offer by far from another team? I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision for him but if he figures he needs to milk the AFL cow for all it's worth good on him.

Not much really, just that he was quiting and that it has been reported Richmond have offered him a 4 year 1.6 million contract.

Oh and Soloman was grateful for his time at Essendon and was moving on with a heavy heart but they just couldnt come to an agreement. Same usual stuff players say in these kind of statements

first year back after one reco last year. essendon even met his demands but, they have finally learned to only pay players to their worth, rather than just to keep them.
