These are jobs that they secured after their political/government careers or acted as lobbyists for their employers? I mean anyone can run for governor or congress in the US. And the timeframe - from Carters administration to Obama's - that's over thirty years and only a handful in each sector. Not much to see here. Certainly not conspiracy worthy.

As soon as Obama installed Rahm Emmanuel as his CoS I began to realise something was up.

That depends on whether you believe that helping Goldman Sachs to buy the Clinton Administration and push through their favourable NAFTA treaty and subsequent bailout of the Mexican meltdown is an example of having the right background.

Given the bullshit Obama bailout, I'd say it was money well spent by GS and Smiling Buddha was right in being skeptical of his appointment
