We arn't dominating but at least we have to wins and a draw against Carltank, Freo and Bulldogs. I would classify this of some credit.

We can't get carried away yet, thats for sure. To earn the AFL worlds respect we need to keep being competitive week in week out. Next week in my view is the biggest test of all.

I'll pay credit for a good performance tonight, Richo was sensational we really couldn't find a matchup. Also pay credit for the noise your boys behind the goal were making. Made us seem very very tame..

while we played very well, we still didnt win. what we can take out of the last month of football, is we have been very competitve with two of the better sides going round, and you can see improve from our younger boys aswell as our senior players have stood up.

Enough of the tanking crap. I thought you guys were fantastic tonight. Definately moving in the right direction. Tambling is definately going to be a player a may end up being better than delidio.

I believe you got more credit from todays game, despite the loss. You were:

• Great against Freo, but they had not been in the best form
• Awesome against the Doggies, but allowed them back in late

However, I think most people expected the Tigers to be a little flat this week and have the Hawks run all over you. But to your "credit", you took it up to the 2nd best (if not best) side in the comp. and did not give an inch. I really felt like this week proved you are now thereabouts. So, despite the loss, you have got plenty of credit from this observer.

Your skill level keeps letting you down, but its getting better all the time and will continue to do so as your kids mature and get more game time under their belts. I also felt you had some critical umpiring decisions go against you today. But the work rate and never say die attitude of todays game (and over the last 2 weeks) is really character building and admirable.

I know teams get judged by W's and L's, but if you are able to look at the big picture stuff you are on the right path. Lets not forget where the Sainters, Cats and Hawks all were before they have got to where they are today.

When did Wallace say you would be playing in a grand final? 2011? Maybe now some opposition clubs can see the pieces falling into place now. But that wont stop us trying to keep your mob down

Anyway, well done. I have a new respect for your club. But remember, we'd love nothing better to see some close losses break your spirit and keep you down. So do what you want with your credits - they count for nothing if you don't keep playing like you did today and forging a new (winning) culture. Lets see in a few weeks how well you have spent your "credit".

Congratulations to Richmond even though you lost i thought that the Tigers played pretty well and finally seem to be on the right track, i also liked the way Richo played tonight ...not bad for a 33 yr old and playing some of his best footy.The Hawks with their wayward kicking for goals were lucky to get away with this win and hopefully the shocker is out of the way and it might smarten us up for next week against the Pies.

Alright, leave it alone for a little while. The Carlton supporters posting in this thread have been positive about the way we're playing and don't deserve this kind of response.
