I wake up this morning to the news that my parents' Subway restaurant was attacked by bogans last night.

Basically, two bogans kicked down their back door, jimmied out my parents safe (with the weekend's takings) and knicked off out the way that they came. Unfortunately one of the key cameras had not been recording (you wouldn't know until you need to view the footage) and now my parents probably will never see that $4,500 again.

Why are some people like that? My parents directly contribute to the community, they set positive examples out there and are ranked the 9th most popular Subway in Australia! But what drives someone to have such disregard for other humans that they would do something so devastating?

Luckily they are insured. The damage is covered, but the excess is $1,000 and the money is also insured, but again the excess is $1,000. So essentially, they're losing $2,000.
