If Haynes gets dropped I'll really spew.
He's been doing a great job on the lead, although against the Pies he went missing, but he's kicking has really let him down.
He's not a natural FF but Woosha seems to be persisting with him there.
I would like to see him as the third tall, with Wilson/Hansen/McDougall/Seaby/Cox/Jakovich at FF and Gaspar at CHF. Not only is Haynes very dangerous on a lead, He's agile enough to take the ball at ground level.
I think our best bet for FF is a rotation policy which involves anyone capable of playing there who is playing in a given match. These guys wouldn't spend any more than half a quarter there and it would really just upset the rythm of the opposing fullback.
So if you took whats been on "normal" (by that I mean, the guys that have played the most) team for a week-in week-out basis: Wirrpunda - McIntosh - Carroll; Banfield - Jakovich - Morrison; Chick - Fletcher - Judd; Embley - Gaspar - Jones; Sampi - Haynes - Matera; Gardiner - Kerr - Cousins; Cox - Hunter - Green - Braun.
You'd have naturally Haynes at FF, Jakovich and McIntosh would spend some time down there when only 2 talls were in their forward line, or Jako would go to CHF with Gaspar at FF for a spell. Gardiner and Cox would spend some time there, even Embley could go down there and spend some time at FF.
That gives us 7 options to rotate through FF, which is probably our best bet, because there really isn't anyone at the moment who is capable of holding that position down and consistently kicking bags, including Wilson.
