Happy to help in any way
Going to come up with a product to sell in my store and offer all proceeds to help fund whatever approved activity

Maybe someone can talk to McDonalds about a sponsorship for a JMac Maccas deal with a $ donation to the foundation

maybe a patch like the 21 seen on this redskins guernsey, except obvs 35.

That's perfect. We don't need any RIP or anything on the jumper just the simple 35 would be a nice touch.

Also get these jumpers in the gear shop. Have a % go to a charity of the family's choice. Even if they bump the price by $20 a Guernsey to cover the donations.

Had a thought in the car on the way home, if its something we want to do as a group that will be permemant, to respect JMac and the club, then how about:

We purchase two guernseys, get #35 on the back of one of them, get someone with good photoshop skills to put together a good photo montage shot of JMac, and get them framed with the front of a home guernsey on the left, the photo montage in the middle, the back with the #35 on the right hand side, and donate it to the club.

That way its something that the club can hang up in the club shop or in the restaurant/bar, something thats respectful that people can look at when they go to the club.

In addition to that, if we wanted to do something for the Sorrento FC, we could do similar with a Port #35 guernsey, a Collingwood #3 guernsey, and two photos of JMac in action for Port & Collingwood.

It shouldnt cost any more than $400 I would think?

EDIT: Similar to the middle part of this, but with the photo where the footy is:

I dont mind the idea Macca.
Could I also propose that we consider doing something for his parents/Dani.... maybe something similar, however use it of a way of showing them that he had positively influenced us as a supporter base.
Whether that be a montage of photos (I'm sure Pete would have some he'd be willing to allow us to use) OR a guernsey / both.

Look I don't want to sound like a sourpuss but I think that most of this stuff would be best left to (and executed by) the club itself. I'm very confident that the club and the AFL will honour him in a very tasteful fashion when the time is right.

Maybe the framed guernsey should be presented to Sorrento FC. Great way of showing support to his friends and family on a grassroots level.

I am sure the club will do that, but i think a lot of supporters are wanting to do something that is from them and from the heart as well.
