I said that Monfries game against Brisbane was better than anything Didak had dished out in 2006. It still is.

I also said that Didak, a player I rated highly, lost me when he failed to display a simple element of courage and win a hard ball that could have won his side the game. He cost his side a match because he squibbed a contest, something Monfries would never do. And for that reason I'd pick Monfries ahead of him.

Your failure to put together anything the resembles an arguement astounds me.

I was a massive Didak fan, I still enjoy watching him when he has the footy in his hands. But when he failed to do something that even a young kid like Nick Maxwell was able to display yesterday, he lost your team a game because he failed to apply himself to a contest. If you are happy with that, then that's fine, your team, your worry. But when we have a player like Lovett that can run and create, and a player like Monfries that inspires with his committment to the footy, I'd think long and hard about picking Didak ahead of Monfries for the future.
