Just curious, do you have Brander at 6 because you rate him highly or is it more of a needs-based pick?

I rate him very highly could play both ends at AFL level which is a bonus.
Reminds me a little of Cale Hooker can be used as ultimate swing-man

good effort - only thing i note is that Richmond wont take Naish at 25. they will only take him inside the 25 if someone nominates him. if they dont, he goes to RFC with a later pick.
in that situation, i expect them to take Stoddart at 25.

I think they may get a bid from North at 23 meaning Richmond would need to match with 25 that why i have Naish there.

Have no doubt that if a bid doesn't come before then he will go with tigers last live pick

No way we take Garner, especially with Murphy and Richards still available.

Murphy and Richards would be stretching it a little bit at the dogs 2nd pick (16) IMO see Richards as a Bolter but still think hes somewhere in the 20-40 range
Murphy is a difficult one Could go anywhere from Gold Coast (19) to Carlton (30)

At end of 2016 i had Garner as a top 10 selection in the draft given he didn't have the greatest 2017 think he would be a great selection for the dogs.

Always value peoples opinions though

Agree to disagree. For the record I reckon both Murphy and Richards go top 20, Garner 30+. IMO a lot of recruiters (and especially Dalrymple) put a lot of importance on recent form and the way players form is trending. Murphy/Richards have shown a lot of improvement whereas Garner has shown the opposite. I think draft day will reflect this.

I'd be willing to bet my left nut Murphy goes top 20

Am pretty confident Cam Rayner goes number 1 and I'm hearing no Ballendon bid is likely until the 20's.

Liam Ryan is a freak he'll go top30 after being overlooked last year. Has Eddie Betts type qualities and has become a professional athlete.

I'd be surprised if Carlton grabbed Clavarino at 30. Miers and Worpel still on the board are a better fit IMO

edit - Young tall defenders at Carlton = Weitering, Marchbank, Plowman, Macreadie, Glass-McCasker(r)

Clubs will bid on Naish, they wont allow the Premiers to draft a top 15 player with pick 40 something.

Eagles or Cats would be fools not to bid with a pick in the early 20s because they know the Tigers will match and pay 25. Cats and Eagles have picks after 25 so why gift the Tigers a crack at a player they want.

Not when in this Phantom they could have gone Hunter Clark at 13 and Fogarty at 21.

I do like Kelly at 32 and Worpel at 37.
Oops I failed to notice that they had missed Clark. I think that , if he gets as far as the Eagles first pick they should take him. He looks like just the sort oof player that they need .

constable and Kelly... that's the closest anyone has come yet in my opinion.

those that have us taking Obrien and murphy with our first are delirious.
