5. Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence
4. Cut Copy - Lights & Music
3. Mi Sex - Computer Games
2. Pseudo Echo - Listening
1. Heaven 17 - Penthouse and Pavement
BM: New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle - Good song obviously but there was nothing shit and this has been nommed 3 times before for a podium and a win so it gets my Billy for that. Considered Psycho Killer for the same reason but I don't think I could ever billy Talking Heads.

I'm pretty surprised how rarely Depeche Mode have been nommed, that was only the 3rd time and the 1st wasn't until round 175.

5. A Flock Of Seagulls - I Ran (So Far Away)
4. New Order- Bizarre Love Triangle
3. Tubeway Army - Are 'Friends' Electric?
2. Wall Of Voodoo - Mexican Radio
1. Talking Heads - This Must Be The Place

BM: Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night

I love 'Unguarded Moment" and "Emotional Haircut" but I don't think either of them fit the theme for this round
"Boys Don't Cry" is a great song, but it's a previous winner

Liked: Marianne Faithful, Pseudo Echo, Mi-Sex, Jona Lewie, Ultravox

"I Ran" is overplayed, but it's a brilliant track that I always tune into when it comes on. It sums up 'new wave' perfectly - semi-talented weird-looking emaciated Brits with funny hair who wrote a couple of brilliant songs and then disappeared without a trace.

I'm glad the Nik Kershaw song didn't win. Can't stand it. The melody makes me want to stab myself.
