When you think about it Melbourne is the worst for great Aussie bands

Sydney - The Church, Midnight Oil, Faker, Died Pretty

Brisbane - The Go Betweens, Regurgitator, Custard, Powderfinger

Adelaide - Cold Chisel, The Angels, Superjesus, Guy Sebastian

Perth - Eurogliders, The Panics, Eskimo Joe, Birds of Tokyo

Melbourne - Pseudo Echo, erm...
Real Life were from Melbourne

Could at least replace this guy with Masters Apprentices or Redgum. You can also add The Saints to Brisbane.

Sorry Plugs, try throwing a bit more berley in next time.
Lol at Perth tho!
I know I didn't want to brag about The Sleepy Jackson and Empire of the Sun. let alone End of Fashion, had to play it down how great Perth is music wise.

Please don't ruin Died Pretty

Even I can't ruin them, one of the best covers I've heard.

Bloody Chappy trying to claim Died Pretty.

I saw them supporting Midnight Oil at the Bondi surfclub back in 1983.

Best gig of my life.

Thought I was older than you and I was 10 in 1983.

I first saw then at Deakin in 92. You am I were first then Died Pretty then Hoodoo Gurus headlining.

My best mate loved them and I saw then whenever they were in Melbs. He used to play Sold every morning when I flatted with him. Drove me and my other mate nuts.

I made that bit up.

Mr Writer, why don't you tell it like it really is

Maybe tomorrow I'll find my way home.

I miss the UK, so many great bands there.

Even the Stereophonics.

Let’s not forget the brilliant Madison Avenue

Such happy memories rocking out to them on Sunday mornings around the share house with a couple of disco biscuits to keep me going

I'm Talking were the first band I ever saw live. It was when I was backpacking through the former Soviet Union with a bloke called Yefgeni and a donkey named Natasha. He hooked up with Kate Ceberano in the back of her troika after they both got smashed on vodka. I just went back to my lodgings with Natasha and heated up some leftover borscht. Probably no one here knows that Yuri Gagarin played drums for I'm Talking and Boris Pasternak wrote all their lyrics.

Adalita seemed liked one of those great Aussie rock chicks.

I had a massive crush on Ella Hooper of Killing Heidi fame, she reminded me of one my old female housemates.

Except Killing Heidi were shit and Magic Dirt were awesome so I lent towards Adllita.

She went out with my best mate's brother for years. Can confirm, awesome person.

He really doubled down. "Artists like KISS, Eminem and Nirvana all got hate when they first started too" (from another video showing the interview before that second performance starts).
He's clearly poured a lot of his own money into this venture.

The Black-Eyed Peas have produced numerous works of searing social commentary over the years; capturing the zeitgeist of the times with classic tunes such as “Pump It” and “I Gotta Feeling”. But they were never more relevant and incendiary than in 2005 with their magnum opus: My Humps, My Humps, My Lovely Lady Lumps
